We are sad to report the recent death of Anthony Cashman. Kickboxing Ireland wish
to extend our deepest sympathy to his son Jacey and his family.
Sean Brennan will take up a tour of duty at the end of the month serving with the
Permanent defence forces on a UN peace keeping mission in the Lebanon.
We wish him
a safe tour.
Ryan Walsh from Silverbridge Co, Armagh has been chosen to carry the Olympic flame
as it makes it way through Co,
Down on 3rd June. The young medical student was
confirmed as an Olympic torchbearer by Newry City Mayor Charlie Casey.

Kickboxing Ireland’s President Roy Baker recently gave a Pointiighting Seminar in Italy, the former World & European Champion spoke about effective competition strategy at the three day event. He detailed his FAST model based on Focus, Adaptable, Specific and Timing.

Second Round Nationals
13th of May will see the nations top Kickboxers arrive in Leixlip to compete for the most coveted title in the country. Hundreds of fighters will compete on the second day of these qualifiers. This is a pre register event, Registration goes live 1st May and will close 1 week before the event.
